• Wetlands
  Leveling Mining is easiest in the Wetlands near Dun Algaz (Koordinates 53,64). Theres a cave full of spiders and one quest that wants you to mine Incendicite. This quest is only for Alliance players, but Horde players can mine these veins aswell. The Ore itself is useless (if not for one quest), but if you are the only one at this spot, you need less than an hour to reach Skill 125.
• Arathi Highlands
  In the East of Hammerfall (Koordinates: 80,40) is a cave. Mining there is similar to the spot in the Wetlands.
• Barrens
  This Route starts at Crossroads, head to the west and then as shown below in a circle.
  
• Thousand Needles
  Start in the North at the Great Lift and head west and as shown on the picture, do circles. Don’t forget to go into every cave since they are full of ores!
  

Alternative but less efficient spots:

• Hillsbrad Foothills: Not really a route, just go in circles.
• Ashenvale: Not really a route, just go in circles.
• Wetlands: Start in Dun Modr and farm along the cliff sides.
• Redridge Mountains: Start in the zones city and farm up into north to Renders Camp. Head back to South (Althers Mill) and then to the Tower of Ilgalar, then back to Lakeshire.

• Thousand Needles
  This route is basically the same as above. But now, it is recommended to also farm into Shimmering Flats (the white area on the map).
• Desolace
  
• Badlands
  

Alternative but less efficient spots:

• Ashenvale
• Arathi Highlands
• Alterac Mountain
• Stranglethorn Vale
• Swamp of Sorrows (do not skip the caves!)

• Searing Gorge
  Just run or ride in circles. If you want to, you can go down into the valley and with some luck, find some Dark Iron Ore (which needs Skill 230).
  
• Azshara
  
• Tanaris
  This route is a little longer, but can be very profitable.
  

Alternative but less efficient spots:

• Winterspring: Just farm alongside the mountains.
• Desolace: With Unterwasseratmung you can farm here around the Ranzajar Island. Chances to meet other players there is really low.
• Blasted Lands: Just farm in circles!
• Hinterlands: Start at Aeria Peak and farm alongside the cliffs in the south. Head back if you reach Jintha’Alor!
• Western Plaguelands: Farm in circles around Ruins of Andorhal.

• Un’goro Crater
  The route is simple: Run or ride in circles around the zone and sometimes head to the big mountain in the middle of Un’Goro. If there are too many people farming, just take one of the other zones below.
  
• Burning Steppes
  The route is again very simple. You can also find Dark Iron Ore here.
  
• Western Plaguelands
  This route is also really easy.
  
• Eastern Plaguelands
  This route is also really easy.
  

Alternativ, but less efficient zones:

• Azshara
• Winterspring: Start in Everlook and head south to find the Yetis and their caves!

• Orcs/Trolls – Durotar: Circle around Razor Hill to Sen’jin
• Tauren – Mulgore: Circle around Bloodhoof Village and Thunderbluff
• Undead – Tirisfal: Start at Sollidens Farm and head North to the mills. Then go south to Stillwater Lake and back to the Farm.
• Dwarfs – Dun Morogh: Circle around Kharanos until you reach Brewnall in the zones West
• Night Elfs – Teldrassil: Circle around Dolanaar
• Humans – Elwynn Forest: Just do full circuits around the whole area (except Northshire)

You will find Peacebloom and Silverleaf easily in every starting zone. The first 50 Skill points should take no time at all.

• Barrens: Head West starting in Crossroads until you reach Stonetalon Mountains. Cross the Harpy Area and head back to East, back on the Golden Road und South again, heading back to Crossroads.
• Alliance players can farm on Westfalls shore until they reach the Deaminds, then up to Sentinel Hill and back to the shore.
• Gol’Bolar is a great alternative in Dun Morogh.
• Darkshore: Just run big circles around the whole zone.

• Barrens: Same Route like from 50-70. If you want to, you can extend your route around the whole zone.
• Silverpine Forest: The southern part of the zone is useful to farm Briarthorn.
• Alliance players can stay in Westfall or take a turn in Duskwood.
• Full circuits from North to South in Darkshore are also viable.
• Loch Modan’s East is a great spot for Briarthorn.
• Also, around the lake in Redridge Mountains.

• Ashenvale: Full circles around Mystral Lake or go West of Astranaar.
• Barrens: The Field of Giants or the area between the two Razorfen dungeons.
• Loch Modan: Farm right beside the eastern shore.
• Redridge Mountains: Circle around Stonewatch Keep.

• Arathi Highlands: Full circles around the zone (head towards mountains).
• Stranglethorn Vale: Around the Nek’mani or Zuuldaia Ruinen, north of Grom’gol.
• Barrens: The Field of Giants or the area between the two Razorfen dungeons.
• Thousand Needles
• Wetlands

• Stonetalon Mountains: Full circles around the zone.

• For Dreamfoil, the best area is Swamp of Sorrows. Just go fully around the area.

• Hinterlands: Full circles around the zone.
• Arathi Highlands: Run or ride circles around the ogre and troll villages.
• Swamp of Sorrows: Full circles around the zone.

• Searing Gorge: Do full circles around the zone.
• Blasted Lands: Do full circles around the zone.
• Tanaris also has a lot of Firebloom, but it’s a big zone compared to the other ones.

• Hinterlands: Get some distance to the main road and follow her through the zone, first on the upper half of the zone and on the way back below the road.
• Felwood: Zig-Zag through the Felwood and do full circles.
• Feralas: There are two routes in this zone: First of all only the north of the zone and second a route including Feralas’ south (if you have a lot of time!).

• Felwood: Zig-Zag through the Felwood and do full circles.
• Desolace: Run circles around Mannoroc Cove.
• Blasted Lands: Just run full circles around the area.

• Un’goro Krater: Just run full circles
• Azshara: Not really a route here.

• With Skill 285 you can farm Plaguebloom in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands and in the Felwood.
• Icecaps can be found all around Winterspring.

Night Elfs: Prowler and every other beast around Dolanaar

Humans: Prowler and Bears in East Elwynn Forest

You get the recipe from Drac Roughcut in Thelsamar (Loch Modan) or Andrew Hilbert in Silverpine Forest.
You also can cook Gewürztes Wolfsfleisch until Skill 70, if there is cheap Sehniges Wolfsfleisch at the auction house.

First, cook 30 Gekochte Muscheln, the recipe turns green at 110 – after that, you cook Crab Cake until 130.

• Krebsküchlein (1x Kriecherfleisch)

You can find Muschelfleisch if you open Kleine rankenfüßige Muschel. The Erfrischendes Quellwasser is sold by most Innkeepers.

Alliance players should buy Rezept: Gekochte Krebsschere from Kendor Kabonka in Stormwind, because when farming the Meat above there will drop a lot of  Kriecherklaue. You can buy Rezept: Seltsam schmeckendes Omelett aswell.

With Skill 125 you can get the next rank! To become an Expert in Cooking, you need to be Level 20 and have Skill 125. Then you can buy Expertenkochbuch from Shandrina in Ashenvale or   Wulan in Desolace.

The recipe is sold by Kendor Kabonka in Stormwind and Keena in Arathi Highlands.
Horde players can get Rezept: Scharfe Löwenkoteletts from Zargh in the Barrens (Crossroads), if you have Löwenfleisch.

Rezept: Gerösteter Raptor is sold byHammon Karwn and Keena (Arathi Highlands)

If you have Schildkrötenfleisch in your bags, you can cook Milde Schildkrötensuppe. To get the recipe, you have to finish the quest Turtle Bisque. The quest starts at Küchenchef Jessen or Christoph Jeffcoat in Hillsbrad Foothills.

Alliance players start the quest with I Know A Guy… from Daryl Riknussun in Ironforge.
