Burning Crusade Classic Leatherworking can be learned from the following trainers:

  • WoW Allianz  Brumman – Honor Hold, Hellfire Peninsula [56, 63]
  • WoW Horde Barim Spilthoof – Thrallmar, Hellfire Peninsula [56, 37]
  • WoW AllianzWoW Horde Darmari of Lower City, Shattrath [67, 68]

From skill level 350 to 375 you have to use recipes earned through faction reputation rewards. The cheapest way requires you to be Honored with the Scryers, Friendly with Cenarion Expedition and Exalted with your Hellfire Peninsula faction. There are alternatives (the Aldor and Sha’tar), but they require the same reputation but much (!) more reagents.

Specialization-Quests

Leatherworking, like several other professions, offers you the chance to hone your abilities in a specific area once you reach level 45 and skill level 200. Dragonscale is for spell using Mail-wearers, Elemental is for physical DPS Leather-wearers, and Tribal is for spell using Leather-wearers.

Dragonscale Leatherworking

To learn Dragonscale Leatherworking you need to talk to WoW Allianz Peter Galen in Azshara, between The Forlorn Ridge and the Ruins of Eldarath or WoW Horde Thorkaf Dragoneye in Badlands, west of Lethlor Ravine.
They want you to bring them:

Once you finish that quest you will learn Dragonscale Leatherworking.

Elemental Leatherworking

To learn Elemental Leatherworking you need to talk to WoW Allianz Sarah Tanner at the Tanner Camp in the southwest of Searing Gorge or WoW Horde Brumn Winterhoof in Arathi Highlands, north of Stromgarde Keep.
They want you to bring them:

Once you finish that quest you will learn Elemental Leatherworking.

Tribal Leatherworking

To learn Tribal Leatherworking you have to speak to WoW Allianz Caryssia Moonhunter on the edge of Thousand Needles or WoW Horde Se’Jib in the ruins south of Grom’gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale.

Patterns

In TBC, some most of the important recipes you’re able to craft after skill level 350 are either earned through reputation grinding or found in various chests, raids, instances, or zones in Outland. In fact, the only useful high-level recipes that you can really learn from trainers are those in your specialization. Otherwise, you’ll need to find the patterns elsewhere
